You normally associate snail speed processing at any government office and that too only after greasing many hands.
But come to any passport seva kendra(a unique private-public initiative) and all these stereotypes vanish. You will be pleasantly surprised to know that even their "Normal" service gives a tough fight to the erstwhile "Tatkal" Seva. Gone are the days, when people were left wondering when will they get this piece of ID once they apply for it. Months would pass till one would even get a sniff about it’s fate.
I would like to congratulate MEA and TCS partnership on the wonderful "Seva" that they are providing for quite some time now. Hope all Indians are benefited from it. I sincerely wish such partnerships get extended in other public services as well.
