Recently I had renewed my Passport. Normally I go through agent, but one of my friend said that they have made it easier now.
So I tried reaching the website and uploaded all the documents. We have to be slow and patient in doing this. Otherwise it is very simple. Lot of examples are given to assist us in filling the details.
The appointment can be viewed and we can take what is required by us.
I could not believe that the whole procedure took only 25 minutes. I exactly went 15 minutes before and the staff and the system was so good that all was very perfect.
IN two days I received my PASSPORT. Except the basic fees I did not spend any Money.( FIRST TIME IN INDIA)
I have seen systems like this only in foreign countries, but this is the first time I am experiencing this myself.
I take this oppurtunity to the entire team which made this possible. HATS OFF.
SUGGESTION:
a) Vehicle park is not there in the Aminjikarai, Chennai Passport office for public.( This has to be looked in to)
