I have applied for my passport last month.I need that urgently so I have applied in Tatkal category for which I have paid Rs 1500 and rest I have to pay on the time of Interview. When I reach the passport office and they asked me to provide them the police verification which is according to them should arranged by me. When I said I don’t see any information about that on website. They said it is written on the website. When I checked the website, I was not able to find any information like that on website. I don’t understand why these government website don’t work on the latest UI standard which are more comfortable for a user. Just because their UI is so poor I was not able to see that particular information.I think government need too hire some expertise for the development of their websites.
