This product comes in a ‘black base, transparent cap’ twist up bullet packaging. The cap shuts with a click, making it very travel friendly. There are no other details mentioned on the actual bullet. All details ( ingredients, directions of use etc.) have been mentioned on the surrounding cardboard package. One thing that I really love about this kajal is the smell! So pure, mild and herbal! It totally reminded me of the kajal that my grandma uses. It smells and feels like authentic kajal.
The color is deep black. Same as Lotus or Himalaya kajals. The texture is smooth. While applying on the waterline, it feels really very smooth and about 3 strokes give a nice subtle look to the eyes. I tried applying this on the lower lash line; it did not feel buttery smooth, but smooth enough. It did not sting or irritate my eyes. In fact, eyes feel a little cooler, calmer on using this ( probably because of camphor) . It is very easy to apply; no tugging and pulling required! It settles down to a semi-matte finish. While trying to apply this on the upper lash line, I had to tug and pull a bit. Somehow, it just did not look neat enough ( a little crumbly) and I was just not able to draw a thin neat line. So, I simply use this on the waterline, lower lash line and even tightline my eyes with this. Tightlining really makes lashes look so much thicker and longer!
