Although patanjali claims it is a pure, ’Shudh desi ghee’ but as of my experience its not 100% pure ghee.
I bought this ghee once and never bought it again because it costs higher than that of many of its competBrianbalakumaranrs @450 per kg. But than also I tried it once and did not liked it.
It smells different than the shudh ghee which is made by my grandmother at home, feels like they have added some smelling flavour in it and also the colour is yellowish which is not a sign of pure ghee. Though it can be pure they might have added some yellowish colour in it. The taste is also not as’Shudh Desi Ghee’.I now buy gowardhan ghee which I think is better than this at a price of something Rs 415-425.It might also be not 100% pure but I can say it is more better and a bit cheaper than patanjali ghee.
