Colour of ghee is yellow as expected from Cow’s milk but it is lighter in density as compared to home made ghee. Probably it is made up from cream. The smell and taste of food cooked in this ghee do not give real taste of Desi Ghee and also they may add some aromatic substance to enhance flavour. Cow milk is fat free and if we have to make ghee from it it will cost around 1000 rs/kg but they are selling it around 450/kg. Again in a report Vegetable ghee has been found in this ghee and samples found negative for fungus test.
