An absolute zero in taste!

I bought a packet of Patanjali Marie Biscuits yesterday out of pure curiosity. I also wished to find out how it differed from Britannia Marie to some extent. In this context, it’s important to mention that I have been buying Britannia Marie for quite a long time.

I must say that my innocent experiment with Patanjali Marie Biscuits failed miserably. I bought a 120 gm of Patanjali Marie Biscuits priced at Rs. 12. Although the packet contained as many as 21 pieces, most of them were broken. To be very honest, they were tasteless. The mustard-chocolate colored pack mentioned 0% cholesterol, 0% trans fat, 0% maida, but I discovered that the biscuits in reality were 0% in taste as well! Moreover, it felt like as if I am taking a medicine pill and not a piece of biscuit!

Britannia Marie I thought were crispier and tasted definitely a lot better when dipped in a cup of hot tea. Finally, when I gave a close look at the Patanjali Marie pack, I noticed ingredients such as honey and sugar malt extracts written on it. But unfortunately, they never quite reflected in the taste. Therefore, for all these reasons, I am not recommending Patanjali Marie Biscuits.
