Patna is the capital of bihar and in ancient times also it used to be the capital of great mauryan empire and was known as patliputra.
But it’s disappointing that today’s government or people have ruined it’s great historical value. The kumharar park where a huge hall of mauryan period was discovered is in very pathetic condition.
Aslo there is nothing left there to see now as many things have been moved to museum. Another building of british era, the golghar situated at gandhi maidan area is also in ruined condition. Something you can visit there is Takht Shri Harimandir Sahib, the sacred place of sikhs and the Buddha Smriti Park. But the crowd, chaos and unavailability of cleanliness makes the experience worse. So according to me if you visit patna you will be disappointed.
