I traveled in Paulo travels sleeper once to Goa. I decided to never travel in a Paulo ever in my life. I began to hate buses and now even the thought of that bus journey in a Paulo makes me sick and throw up.
The problem:
I asked for a sleeper Volvo ticket from the Paulo office at Goa, the lady there was giving a seat number while a guy who looked like her manager walked up and changes the number to something else. To my amusement it didn’t make a difference at the counter but once in the bus I realized the seat I got was a small little cabin on top of the seating passengers, literally the cabin that is provided to store light luggage. This cabin is about 1.5ft high and 3.5’wide.
It is very claustrophobic and for sure you’re out to suffocation. When I complained the crew chose to ignore me as they very well expect these complaints every day. They use the advantage since we have paid the money already and it is very tough to get in to any other bus at that time. I could not sleep there so me and my wife we sat in the isle whole night and whenever possible we threw up.The Volvo is a tall bus with very good suspension so it swing around so much at the top that every turn you feel the bus is going to topple because in a Paulo sleeper Volvo the seat I got is where you are tied to the roof literally.
My Suggestion:
If Possible avoid Paulo Travels, or if you don’t have a choice then while booking a sleeper Volvo make sure you don’t get one of the coffin boxes they have write at the front on top of the seating passengers.
