Since ICICI moved to PAYBACK, have been having series of issues :
a) The CARD seems to never reach me .. though keep getting SMS about the points, it is ALWAYS sent via First flight courier. Apparently it seems to be received by unknown people and have to keep calling to resend . Assurances to send via OTHER courier companies somehow never materializes.
After 3 attempts, and 20, 000 points on my ICICI bank ca rd, dont know who is happy shopping now as the card doe s NOT need authorization and I cannot track it since I dont even know the number!
b) Failed online transactions get deducted from points:
One of the cards linked to my Sb account, when I purchase Vodafone minutes, the bill desk failed, but payback still shows as success... took over 3 weeks to get it refunded.
c) Poor customer service : The call centre / email support is poor and they NEVER resolve teh issue and just happy to raise a new ticket with SAME issues.
LONG story short : FORGET your point..SAVE on your HEAD aches...CANCEL payback.
