They don't provide the service they used to

Paytm.com has been one of the most influential website during the cashless era at the start of 2017. Paytm.com offers online wallet, book movies, bus/train tickets and pay online bills. It did provide a great service but is it still making its mark in the cashless tech business?


Paytm.com has introduced during a transfer money from your wallet to the bank. As per my calculations, the net amount deducted from your transfer will be 2.04% . So, if you want 500Rs transfer you will be charged 10.2Rs extra( Refer the attached image 1) . This has been introduced lately and wasn’t a problem during early 2017.


Why would you pay such a huge amount to take your money from one place to another?


Another main problem I’d like to express is that, once you’ve booked a movie ticket halfway untill the payment, and you accidentaly press the back button, the seat will be blocked for around an hour( Image 2) . Also, it won’t be available on any other sites. You’d have to wait for some time and place a new order. The pending order will be immediately marked as failed.


Paytm.com offers good customer care services but they don’t provide complete answers and make you wait for a while. Hope this gets you enough knowledge about the current problems faced by Paytm.com users.
