Best thing about the site is "Cashback" which makes some purchases really
good bargains. Worst is that there is NO HELP literally. No help on phone(U just get disconnected after IVRS shit!), 24x7 care onsite won’t accept any complaints/suggestions. One can’t cancel an order even immediately after booking it, on noticing that a promo code had been removed during payment against that order.
Cancellation requests take you to another paytm promo page showing more items. Result; money from your wallet goes down the drain. I purchased lot of items in past few months, some delivered quickly, some taking as much as 2 weeks and some getting cancelled/refunded, but never needed to cancel an order earlier.
So like me, if you want to continue using paytm at times, use paytm most carefully, keep only required minimum amount in wallet and be DOUBLE WHAMMY before submitting an order. Else repent leisurely as I’m dong. Having lost faith in Paytm, I just un-installed the mobile app which I downloaded a few weeks back.
One liner: "Beware of holes in paytm wallet", use carefully only if you must.
