My first mobile recharge with PayTm was easy and not completely free. I used PayTm Wallet earned from vouchers. For mobile recharge eg. of Rs. 60/- I was charged S. tax and access fee and finally got only Rs. 49.4/- worth of mobile recharge.
Used cash back offer on purchase of Britannia Bourbon-The Original, New and Chocolatier Biscuits, MRP 10/- the 60 gram packs.
The Free Rs.10/-PayTm offer is printed clearly outside.Inside each pack is a 12 digit code which I used. Redeemable only 6 times.
Also purchased the MRP Rs. 26/- packs of same brand- Britannia Biscuits. Can redeemed again only 6 times. Enjoyed eating these biscuits and also get a cash back.Accumulating into my Pay Tm wallet and looking out for other brands that have a tie up with Pay Tm now.
Easily logged in to PayTm.com website, filled in simple product details, and entered all codes. PayTm Wallet then gets filled. Display is quick and so clear. Can redeem into your Bank Account, Mobile recharge or use for on-line shopping etc.
Preferred not to shop from PayTm.com website as products are not of my choice and the rates are so high.Opted for mobile recharge.
Simple steps for Mobile recharge -
-Choose Mobile Operator -Amount to recharge -Apply from wallet and -wait.
-While waiting - DO NOT REFRESH PAGE and within a few seconds amount from your PayTm Wallet is deducted/transferred .
-Will receive SMS and e-mail with transaction ID No.
-PayTm.com correctly applied 60 from wallet but I was charged Rs.7.6 as S.tax, Rs.3.0 as Access Fee and final Cash back I received was Rs. 49.4/-only.
-Spent Rs. 60/- on biscuits, enjoyed these tasty, new biscuits and even got a Cash back of Rs. 49/-WOW!
Could be even better if PayTm, as per their advert, permits the customer to get a Cash back for each and every enclosed Coupon Code. After all the customer is being charged taxes and access fees etc. in full.
