After the popularisation of it’s digital wallet feature. payTM has entered the domain of online shopping too. As you all know, we get very excited when we get many deals and offers to shop online so does the payTM used this advantage and provided ( still providing) with offers. But, wait, think for a minute do you really think it is so easy for a company to provide such offers everyday.
Let me give an example, On 28th Feb. 2017, my friend saw an offer on payTM which was selling Puma Laptop Bag at Rs. 1100/- ( approx, could’nt remember the exact figure) with a whoping cashback offer of Rs. 850. So, that’s really a great offer. He got excited about it and ordered it as the stocks went off very fast. Atlast, he was successful in ordering it.
After 15days, the bag was delivered to him what he found was not at all expected from payTM , the bag was of very cheap quality with delicate chains closing and opening the bag. To close the bag, you need to operate with the chain very slowly so that it get’s closed. My friend had an idea of returning it but the C.Care failed to give a reply to him.
From this, I hope I made you clear what is the marketing strategies of these cheap offers. Make sure, from next time you verify all the details correctly and then order it.
