Today I wish to write my bad experiences faced in paytm. app. Actually I came to know about paytm from their ads and with some reviews on net. Then later I just watched the video in you tube to how to create an account and use it in the proper step.
2years before I just installed the app and started using it. But to use it in proper channel I had become a kyc verified customer. Later in few days I got it completed.
After my Kyc I was expecting cashback offers which is readily available in paytm. Now I will tell you the experience I faced in Paytm.
1) Before my KYC it was poping a message saying that after my KYC I will get 100 Rs cashback to my wallet, which I have not received till today.
2) I had a message in my app that my first bill payment I will get 10% cashback. It can be any bill like electricity, water bill etc. which I didn’t receive.
3) Recent I got message that if I pay through paytm in reliance fresh on purchase of above 3000 Rs we will get 350 cashback. Where my bill was 5000 above and till today I didn’t receive.
4) I opted for debit card and ordered for virtual debit card which will be easy for paying in stores when net is slow. For virtual debit card I had to pay 125 RS which I did. But when I received the card the 16 digit number was different which was in my app. So when I called customer care them regarding this fortunately they received and told me that you have to order another time paying 125 rs. There is no option of refunding my previous money. The mistake was done by them but still I had to pay. See the way they help their customers.
5) Last one but not the least Refer a friend and earn 50 rs cash immediately. I referred a friend and immediately installed and signup in paytm through my link but I didn’t get rs 50 cash back.
So many times I decided to delete my account from paytm by emptying my wallet. But to empty my wallet its going to cut few percentage, which I don’t want to give this app any percent. Just waiting for my wallet to be empty.
Whenever I have not received cash back I have messaged their 24 X 7 help, But absolute nil response. Not only message I have even given a call to their customer but the customer care center keeps my call on hold for hours together, nobody comes in line to pick. Now I call them how to set my UPI which is newly occurring and empty my wallet and how to delete my account.
Why I want to delete because I just don’t want my account here for security reasons. All online app have an option of deleting their account where in Paytm app you don’t find.
Just fed with this app. If anybody knows better app than Paytm please let me know through your reviews.
