I’d like to segregate paytm into 2 different categories: Recharges and online market place.
Recharge
*Services*** Paytm is offering a wide variety of services for recharge and bill payment, but is somewhat lacking behind mobikwik. One service which I know of is BSES-Y electricity bill payment. They have also started Bus ticket bookings which is quite good.
*Offers** Paytm has doled out some of the best offers amongst it peers. Best part of paytm has been if the payment fails, code can be reused and almost all offers work on wallet credits.
*Site and App Usability** I find both app and site pretty convenient to use. The options are well laid-out and response is normally fast.
Market Place
I have ordered thrice so far, and every time products have been delivered very quickly.
*Products** Products variety is pretty widely distributed and range is good.
*Offers** Cashback offers on goods have been decent. Need to compare with rival sites though(especially Amazon) as they offers better pricing many times.
*Vendors** I am not sure if there is some concept of trusted vendors(Like FBA or Flipkart Advantage). This gives rise to a bit of genuineness concerns about the products. A couple of shirts which I ordered at really deep discount seemed like factory seconds. but cannot really say
Support
The twitter help desk is very active on twitter and is able to resolve most of the queries pretty quickly.
Overall Highly suggested.
