I had been using paytm for a long time. At first its mostly a recharging site, which later became popular because of demonetisation by Prime Minister which enhances Customer increase drastically for paytm. Paytm is easy to use site and more easy and fast if using the paytm app by play store but have a very poor customer services.
I have only used paytm for recharging and money transfer till now. Recharging is easy to perform. The coupon they provided like the lucky win contest, cash back contest and many more coupons provided by paytm is fake oftenly. Some work some don’t specifically the lucky contest saying lucky one will get an I phone but never announced any winner.
It’s annoying that to use paytm for money transfer as the bank cash need to be converted to paytm cash else money can’t be transferred. Theres should be a way to transfer the money directly without the intermediate requirement of conversion to paytm cash. Transfer is fast but the process is long.
Paytm has one of the worst customer services. No matter how many times u write about an issue they never responded to satisfied a customer. Once I was recharging through the paytm site. My account get deducted but recharge is not done. I call the customer care, but they could not help much and said me to write a mail. I wrote the mail and after like 5 days I got my recharge. Its not reliable always but in most case its good.
Now I only use this app for money transfer if the person I have to pay also have paytm but I don’t like this app much.
