I have ordered a crockery cabinet and a bench worth 45K together.
Though the delivery is made on the exact time and the tracking was good, here is my feedback on the items:
1.Crockery cabinet:
-Shape and size same as what was described on the website - thanks God
-The paint job seems like is done by a 5 year old kid.
-Edges and surfaces are not at all standard. Seems like a college project where just for the sake of curriculum, students needs to be submit something and get a C grade to pass.
-We have to call a carpenter to fix up the broken glass during delivery, scratch the whole surface and then a painter was called to paint it evenly. Total expense on carpenter and painter was 5000 Rupees.
2.Bench:
-Wonderful experience. Instead of bench, a shoe rack is delivered.
-While the guys from the courier company were dropping this off our doorsteps, we understood that something is wrong with the package shape. Courier guys were arrogant and they left as soon as the stuff touched down the apartment floor.
-We called Pepperfry and were told that followup will be done. Was just told that the bench is sent to wrong address and those guys like it and want to keep it. So Pepperfry will order a new one for us and keep us posted. The shoe rack is now at our place and they want us to pack it properly and they will provide the address for delivery.
I would have just bought these stuff from a local shop and got it delivered at my doorstep. Shopping from Pepperfry ended up in frustration.
