Ordered a 6 piece cup-saucer set only to find out on delivery that one saucer was missing. When I raised a concern with the customer service team got told that "that was the last available set so we cannot replace the set".
So this makes me wonder, did they know while shipping itself that the set was incomplete? If yes, why did they not inform me before shipping and take my consent if I still wanted to continue with the order? If no, then what checks, if any, do they have in place before they ship out orders?
Ridiculous to say the least - they have tried pleasing me with a refund of 150 bucks and a 25% off gift voucher. I wonder what they would do for a product which would be of a higher value and would be unusable due to their lack of checks before shipping out products to customers.
Also makes me wonder if they would do the same for the last piece that is left for lets say a dinner table you bought and when you receive the shipment you find out that one of the 4 legs of the dinner table is missing!
Get your act straight or Flipkart like sites will definitely not let you survive through their sheer customer focus and ability to handle such issues in a much more sensible manner. Would not recommend your site to anyone.
