The Order: 301560546 - a 6 seater dining table(self assembly)
The Problem: One chair of the dining table was a defect piece, rendering it useless.
The Disappointment- The customer service seems to be in place only to delay and evade complaints rather than sort it. It feels like talking to a wall because even after several complaints youll receive no response, forget a solution. Can you hear me pepperfry? I am not sure.
first, one will call the customer care to make a complaint, after hearing you out, youll then be directed to write a written complaint and send a picture of the damaged good for their convenience, so they can understand the problem.
it doesnt end here, its just begun, their convenience and your inconvenience has just begun and it will go on over the next one month till you get frustrated and post an online review to warn others about the massive pain in the*&^%.
after the written complaint and picture, I got a call asking to send the email to one Mr.SAnasultanl(sAnasultanl.n@pepperfry.com) and I did immediately. Guess what, they were just checking if I was jobless, because I did send one immediately but the busy people at pepperfry were too busy to respond.After further calling, youl again be asked to send more detailed pictures because apparently " the vendor couldnt figure out the problem" a 5 year old kid would have figured out the same in 2 minutes.
so like I would explain to a 5 year old, I sent another email with 6 pictures and an explAnasultantion with each picture only to never hear from them again. so Id warn anyone from using this particular website. Am sure this isnt the case always, but I am damn sure it is the case several times.
