Late delivery, poor customer support.

Order number: 300428938/ Date of order 27th June.


I am writing on 8th July 2014, item not delivered yet.


Pepperfry marked my order complete as soon as they shipped the item, I dont have option to cancel even if I did not recieve the item.

  1. I asked them for cancellation and escalation on 5th July as they messaged me that item should be delivered by 2nd july.

  2. They told me to wait another day, email sent to them gave no reply. Next day, I got email from pepperfry stating my item should be delivered but I still did not get it, they asked me to wait one more day and it continued till 4 days. Consequently I waited for 4 days but not received the item. Total delayed by 6 days.

They did not process cancellation despite of me saying it repeatedly, offered no condolence and all they did was to ask me to wait for my item. Their customer service team never transferred me to a manager or supervisor, there is no second level escalation contact provided to customers.


This company does not stand anywhere near online shopping standards, their policies and procedures are not customer friendly.
