Unsatisfactory redressal of broken item

I recently shopped for items close to Rs. 6000 (in 4 separate orders) on this site. one item, costing rs. 125, was broken. I wrote to customer care and requested for refund. I was told that I will get refund in form of "pepperpoints" which I must use within 15 days of issuing.


Moreover, I’ll need to spend at least Rs. 15 more than pepperpoints to avail them. MOREOVER, for order less that rs. 1500, i’ll have to pay shipping charges of rs. 59. so basically, in order to get a reverse of rs. 125, I have to spend Rs. 199, i.e. Rs 74 extra. is this a resolution or a punishment? and that too after doing so much shopping over this site.


well, after posting this feedback, I got a quick response from the site. I was reimbursed the shipping charges as well. I still believe that the amount of minimum shopping for free shipping is too high. but customer care is doing a great job. thank!
