This is the worst online furniture store you can ever try. Talking about order no: 304569972, I had placed this for a queen size cot and a bean bag. The cot package
came with two damaged pieces and the carpenter told it will be replaced with new items from the warehouse. I called up the customer care and was told within 24-48
hours, the faulty pieces will be replaced with items from Indiranagar warehouse. After that no communication and the opened package was lyging in my bedroom eating up
so much of space. Next day I get an SMS saying the return pickup has been scheduled and Mr.X will come and collect it. Again I called up the customer care and was
shocked to hear the statement- it said the customer has requested for a return of product(no reason mentioned) and the pickup has been scheduled. Remember, I had
already wasted two days at home 1.waiting for the package to arrive 2.waiting for carpenter. Seeing me worried about the faulty package, out of his innocence, he is
like "Sir, why are you getting tensed, this is very common for PepperFry items". I called up the customer care again and requested for a cancel of the pending item-
bean bag. The guy told me its already in transit and cannot be cancelled until it reaches my home! That call of mine got transferred between three PepperFry depts and
no solution or statement was given.
Now about the refund.the item was picked up was again hearing no news on the refund, I rang the customer care again. per them the item has to reach back their
warehouse and once the receipt is confirmed, they will initiate the refund in another 48 hours. and once that taken it will take another 7-10 working days to reflect
in the medium of payment, ridiculous! I totally suspect these guys are into some money lendering business and they make money out of these delays and interests in
crediting the refund back. Please dont go by their colorful ads that keep coming in the TV. its waste of time, money, self-respect and in the end you get some cheap
quality furniture.
