Poor customer care

My online shopping experiences with pepperfry.com was satisfactory till I purchased a SURYA HOT AUTO IGNITION GAS STOVE from the site. They took their time and sent the product through DTDC courier. The parcel was wet from outside but I received since it was raining. I did not get the time to open and check because I had an official tour. When I came back and checked the item then I saw the front panel of the stove was little damaged on both corners. When I connected it with gas cylinder and tried to check with gas knobs I found even when only one knob was on(the smallest) but gas was leaking from two other big burners also and withing second the biggest burner also cached fire and start burning. I wrote an email to the website about it and they said since it was more than 72 hours so they are unable to help me in any way and gave me 3 mobile numbers of a service center.


I called and talked with a person who told me that something is broken inside that stove and it needs to be replaced. He advised me to write to avsenterprises@live.com with a copy to pepperfry. I did and waited to some days. Now when I am calling to those three mobile numbers, no one is picking phone and I am totally in dark what to do next. May be the service center people are waiting till the warranty period gets over. God knows!
