I haven’t reviewed anything on mouthshut in over 2 yrs and this really is quite bad.
So 2012- I am hoping I am once again going to start reviewing all my major purchases and experiences.
The one thing what I always don’t get is - why does online shopping always makes people mad. I have shopped at yebhi, myntra, pepperfry, tradus, infibeam, ebay - and I don’t think I have ever been duped. of course then there are episodes of late shipping - calling customer care - wrong size - not the perfect color. but I am mentally prepared for this, I dont want to move my butt off to the store, either I am lazy or I am getting a better deal online, I got to compromise!
I think apart from tradus, no site has ever sent me the product within the claimed number of days- and I am not excessively mad about it anyway!
The online shopping bug has caught a lot of us and I am no different, and Pepperfry was a new site- which I had to try. Especially when they had this juicy offer of 500 bucks off your first order- woohoo!
I bought a tote bag, which was delivered within 5 working days- I am cool with it, I don’t get worked up with delayed shipping unless its like REALLY delayed
The quality was awesome! I could easily compare the bag material and quality to the parachute material they use in fastrack bags- for half the price! But I realized it was too big for me. I called up customer care, and they did arrange for a return pickup- however I ended up giving it to a friend. I am always wary about returns- I don’t have the nerve for it- what if they never receive or receive in damaged condition?
The nxt I bought a bag again, this time very carefully checking out the dimensions . The second bag was received in 4 working days- and excellent quality. The color was not exactly the same as it appeared- but its cool!
I have ordered another gift for my mother in law, and keeping my fingers crossed that she receives it soon.
The only thing I don’t like about pepperfry is - they don’t always update the tracking number /shipping status. So I wont know unless I call up customer care and cross check. I mean c’mon guys why is this so difficult. The last order shipment was updated after I got the product. ROFL!
For now I am thinking pepperfry is a keeper - and I am going to keep using it until something goes horribly wrong!- fingers crossed/
