I am an avid online shopper. What I have noticed with pepperfry is that they offer lucrative discount coupons like timtara. But their processing people are sleeping all the time and so shipment takes very slowly.
CC is open for 22 hrs. We may think its an added advantage. But they never respond to our queries properly. They keep telling blah blah blah... Its like a government site. They dont work in saturday it seems. Because when I asked about my order 100216317 dated 31-7-12 they were telling they need 7 working days to ship. When I enquired my order on the 7th working day evening they started telling saturday cannot be included and so they will ship it only by 10-8-12. I wonder from where pepperfry has recruited these chatting assistants. No wonder even if they are directly recruited from primary schools!! 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9 are the 7 working days and how these people have got till 10. May be they want one more day due to their busy homework’s in schools.
Their chatting assistants have fake names like James, Alice, Clark.... I am sure they are called chottu, bablu aur mottu in real.
But a special thing to mention they are a way better than timtara. Because these guys do deliver items as I have a previous experience. Still its slow. Much much slower than flipkart, yebhi, infibeam etc
