My review is very similar to the one done by RM28 here on Mouthshut.com. I bought two products from Pepperfry.com on 18th of September. They shipped both products to a wrong city and now NOT refunding my money. My 1000 rupees is stuck with them. I have tried every trick in the book but they fear NO one. They are openly cheating the public. They are immoral. They do not reply to emails. They do not tell you the status of your order. They say they have refunded my money but the money has NOT come into my bank account even after 18 days of refunding. They just keep giving excuses. What should I do? Who should I contact: TV channels, pro-consumer websites, consumer ministry etc., or who?
But my review aside, one thing that surprises me is that, have they bribed Mouthshut.com?
I cannot understand the logic of Pepperfry.com having 3 stars "overall rating" here on Mouthshut.com. despite 74% people giving them 1 star! Could you explain to the reviewers what is this Mouthshut? I can hardly see any positing review or recommended review here, including the fake ones by their PR team. Then how have they got 3 star. Crooks galore?
Dear Mouthshut.com. you are the only powerful voice of consumers on the Internet. Please correct the Pepperfry.com ratings. Give them zero or one star in consumers’ interest. Warn people of buying from Pepperfry.com.
