They will Never dispatch items on committed date and the customer care will try to teach new mathematics.
I have placed order on 4th of June during that time shipment date it is mentioned as 6th June. Here it is misleading because all online shopping web site mention about delivery date. But the great logic Pepperfry will tell you is. It is shipment from their end.
on 6th I called customer care they given me a courier ref number and stated that item has shipped and will be delivered within 2 to 3 working days.
I again called them on 10th and the update from Customer Care team is, generally item will be delivered within 3 to 4 working days and item shipped on 6th [which need to excluded according to Pepperfry maths] and 7th is first working day, 8th is second and 9th is Sunday So 10th is 3rd working day, it should be delivered by 11th evening 6 pm .. 100% assured.
I again called them on 12th and the update from Customer Care team is, generally item will be delivered within 4 to 5 working days and item shipped on 7th [Don’t know how it is changed from 6th to 7th] and again I need to exclude 7th according to Pepperfry maths, 8th is Saturday [Which is holiday to all courier companies according to Pepperfry rules, may be all parcels I have received earlier on Saturdays didn’t know about new rules created by Pepperfry] and 9th is Sunday So 10th is 1st working , 11th is 2nd working day and 12th is 3rd working day, it should be delivered by 14th evening .. 100% assured.
And most wonderful thing is the courier reference number which they will provide will not work.Even if it works it always shows same status. And the Customer care guys will say we are facing issues with that courier and trying to resolve it. This will common answer to all customer , please check other reviews for confirmation.
I never had seen such a worst customer care in my life. My dear Pepperfry customer care heads check your call recording which you saved for training purpose.
I generally go through reviews before purchasing items but first time I did a big mistake.
My kind request to fellow customers “buying items here is not worthy " and you have to spend many bucks for customer care calls , sometimes calling charges will be more than ordered item [ like me].
I strongly suggest it is not at all a best site for online shopping.
