I recently had another setback continuously after one-another from pepperfry.com.They are abysmal while it comes to problem resolution, as their customer care is always clueless and at all the instances helpless to help customer..
Their system is so pathetic and unreliable that, everytime you call customer care, you have convey your case from the scratch as there is no system to register the case, which can be retrieved later.
They are just luring customer by offering attractive prices and grab the money, even ship the item but after enjoying the interest for far long time, in the meanwhile, they will take examination of your patience...
Let me drive you breifly with the incident that I am going thru this time.I placed an order with following details on pepperfry.com
Order No.: 100283951
order date: 23/09/12
item name: 2GM GOLD COIN IN 24KT GOLD (999 FINENESS)
ORDER VALUE: RS.15, 398.00
First, they shipped the item, but never updated there system that the item is shipped. THE FACT IS, TILL TODAY THE SYSTEM IS SHOWING AS PENDING...
I was told that, please pay the octroi charges to courier and will reimburse on the production of receipt, which I had done as suggested by them and sent them all the receipts to customer care email address.
I confirmed over chat by their customer care executive mr. billy on 8 Oct 2012 that, the reimbursement would reflect in bank a/c within 2-3 working days, but till now, there is reflection.They are neither sharing bank transaction number, nor reimbursing money..
I wrote an email to them which is also unanswered since 5 days... ((Who commit to revert within 24 hrs is just EXAGGERATION))
Moreover, their customer is so pathetic that they are cluelss for everything, and helpless for helping customer... As I asked them about the shipping status of item that actually received by me but not updated in their system, I was told that, it will be shipping within a week..... :) This is enough to establish a conclusion that, they never deserve to be e-commerce wish is all about updated every microsecond...
I hope, I would save atleast couple of people being trapped in dirty net of pepperfry.com.
