Yahi hai public ka naya mantram ... I know this review might be a little out dated as such .. but just to voice my opinion AGAINST the cola wars... which is driving the puclic crazy , I decided to write a mind satisfying review.
Well , frankly speaking , I like the background music in the new Pepsi Blue commercial ( not the sharukh khan wala ) ! But unfortunately , thats the only thing I like about the whole campaign. I can’t really believe this ! What do these people think we are ? a bunch of bozos ? Are we monkeys scratching our heads and waiting for one MORE drink to come into the market so that we can waste more of our time by saying ’’ arrre yaar , aaj kaunsa drink piyu ? ’’ or so that little kids can pester their bamboozled parents by saying ’’ Mummy mummy , mujhe woh BLUE wala pepsi chahiye ! ’’. Well , I guess the answer is YES .
I guess , we should give some credit to Pepsi , for using their heads for once and launching this drink at an apt moment when the world cup was on , which had stormed the whole country and swept it off its feet ! But still , I didn’t get it . Whats this new funda of everything in blue ? Men in blue , Drink in blue , every tom dick and harry wearing blue ( I also have an india t shirt ) . Oh yes , its the world cup.... !
But hey , let me take this opportunity to remind you that the drink is PATHETIC , USELESS , MONOTONIC !!!! I would rather drink some tonic and have a tumour in my neck ! An utter waste of money . Luk , try this test , if you can , Take two glasses , one with normal Pepsi , and one with Pepsi Blue . Close your eyes and have a sip of them both . You shall inevitably notice that theres no difference in taste.Not even an iota of a difference !
One more experiment. Take two plastic bottles ( 500 ml ) and look at their contents . Notice any difference ? NO ?!?!! So , now you get it , it was nothing worth a worhtless piece of bauble , with just plain pepsi , with hardly some colour change. THATS IT !!!!
One more question , what flavour , made this wonderfully exciting drink ( sarcastic ) go blue ? Pista ? Badam ? Custard ? Mustard ? Mango ? what ?!?!?! No answer ? Well , if the drink woiuld have been yellow , or green , we would at least understand taht yes , it must be mango or pista flavoured , but wait , BLUE ?!?!?!?!?
Anyways , I said what I wanted to say ! Hope you get my point ... tsk tsk tsk ....
