PESIT....the place where any aspiring engineer should be. Who could know it better than myself??!! I studied there for four years for my BE degree in Electronics and Communication and then worked there in my department as a lecturer for almost a year. PESIT provides its students with an environment which makes the students mentally really tough so that they can face life.
One allegation PESIT had to face...and is still facing is that ’’it is very strict’’. I would like rephrase it...PESIT is 100% professional...not strict. Only those guys who are focussed in life, know what exactly they want in life understand why PES is so ’’strict’’. But, I do have to confess that the lack of a big ground for sports activities is one of the shortcomings. Whatever the shortcomings may be, they are all made up by the excellent management which is always ready to help the students. I have not heard of any other college where the student directly walks into the Director’s chamber and discusses his problems!!
The quality of teaching is very good and constantly improving. The faculty are ever ready to help the students with whatever problems they face, either during class hours or after class. And the library...is one of the best with lot of books, co-operating staff and 24 hours open during exams!
Finally, the best part of PES...the students. You can find some of the best guys on campus. You make friends for life here!! You cannot expect anything more from an institute...can you?!
