Since the time I have come to Kolkata have been hearing from people that Can’t Miss this One and now I too say the same.
Situated on the Park Street, just besides Music World, not very hard to find out. Once you step into it you will start loving the ambience of the place. Each table lit up with the light above it and overall a mixed kind og lighting. The place to sit is upstairs where you have nice sofas and chairs lined up along the periphery.
As you are seated and comfortable the menu is put forward for you to go through it. The cocktail menu is separate and is worth going having a look even if one doesn’t drink but for the ones who have drinks there is a lot in that menu card. Exotic cocktails are listed with their compositions mentioned.
I had ordered Planter’s Punch ( Mix of various fresh juices like pineapple, orange with a dash of Rum) and my friend had Screw Driver ( Vodka with Orange Juice). The drink was nice and good.
Main course was the always recommended Chelo Kababs and no regrets what so ever on ordering it. The presentation of the Dish was marvellous with a Half friend egg on top of Rice and you have Shaslik Kababs with other Sheekh kebabs. I must say it was heavy for me being an good eater. One who eats little are in trouble as you won’t like to leave any of those nice things behind on your plate. One dish and you wont have appetite for anything else.
The ambience of the place is good and the service is fast and good. The rates are pretty okay with the kind of taste they serve.
If one has come to Kolkata then he should not miss going to Peter Cat for once.
