I had much expectations from this product but within 2 months, the filters started giving out a foul smell and the Air purifer turned into a "AIR-TOXICATOR". The customer service person who visited me told me that it is a known issue. A replacement HEPA filter is Rs.3, 600 and a Activated Carbon FIlter is Rs.3, 600. I was told that the filters are not covered under warranty and so, if I want to continue to use my brand new air purifier, then I will have to shell out the money. These filters are supposed to work for 3 years, but mine didn’t last two months. I was only using it in my bedroom for a few hours every night.
Now I have to shell out Rs.7, 200 within two months of buying this product for Rs. 23, 000/- . I have decided against replacing the filters as there is no gurantee on how long the new filters would last. So, currently my brand new Rs. 23, 000 worth Air Purifier is sitting in my store room, gathering dust and waiting to be sold off to the local kabadiwala.
