I purchased philips go gear as I trust philips for their great electronic audio products which may not be as popular as sony but they are really good.This time again its a real fun to hear on go gear.
I got in a red & black color combination which looks really good in hands.Now coming on its audio output for which we purchased it and its the only place where I really got disappointed especially by the bass output of music player which is not better than sony and samsung, it may be good for those audio lovers which dont like heavy bass output but not for me.Also u have to upgrade your earphones, but I enjoyed its FM sound quality which is awesome even when u record and listen.
Now I would like to enlighten some issues related to equalizer.U will get a 5 band equalizer which is common in Nokia & Sony Ericsson phones so there is nothing special in it.Also if u want to use customized equalizer settings u need to select it every time u switch on it which is really troublesome. Coming on its file explorer its too not fast enough and it takes time when u open folder containing too many songs so it irritates sometimes.
PC connectivity is as easy as a pen drive but some people will not like it as u need to first connect it with a data cable which is not like sony and samsung in which u can directly insert as pae drive.
Go gear comes with touch buttons and also the normal ones which I have and its not soft enough.its a bit hard.Talking about battery on which I would say its really really awesome and it can provide u continous music entertainment during those railway journeys which seems endless.
Overall its a good product with a good value for money .
