I’ve been using Sennheiser HD202 for 5 years. I bought these Philips SHP1900, tested them and I found that these are.
LOW, THIN and SOFT on TREBEL(High frequencies).
BASS is TIGHT and DETAILED, 5 stars for that!
there IS an effect of a WOOFER and a MIDRANGE speaker
however, there is NO EFFECT OF A TWEETER
VOCALS sounds FLAT
DRUMS, TABLA, hissing sound on letter "S" are ALL FLAT!
However, Sound is spacious and it feels like coming from far
away and it surrounds your head very well. 5 stars for that and 3
stars to Senn HD202
for some people these type of sound reproduction can feel NATURAL! It depends up on individuals and their taste!
Even I am FINE with these headphones if not fully satisfied.
What I really like about these, is, 20 to 20kHz frequency response, which is GOD tuned HUMAN’s HEARING RANGE and Neodymium magnets.
Headphones are well designed and they DO LOOK LIKE
a headphones. I really like the design.
