I have taken up jogging every morning since the last few months and whenever I hit the roads, I have my earphones plugged into my ears.
My old set of earphones, by Philips, started to give up on me after 2 years of, what I can say, pretty rough usage. So I decided to buy the Philips ActionFit Sports Earphones- SHQ3300LF, which I received just today.
These earphones are IPX4/7 certified, which means they are water and sweat proof.(You can wash them! Yay!) These are the ear hook kind of headphones, with an adjustable ear-hook for better fit.
You get the earphones, a carrying pouch and a set of three ear-buds of varying sizes- small, medium and large(I tried out all the three sizes and found that the medium size fit my ear the best) in the box.
My opinion: Well, these earphones seem okay and do provide a secure fit. So I dont expect them to fall off when I jog. These earphones are not completely noise-isolating ones even though they are the in-ear type, which suits my needs perfectly as I generally find myself running on the roads amidst traffic. The sound quality seemed to be good for now, but I cant really say much as I have just used them for a few minutes and havent burned them in yet. The build quality did seem a bit plasticky, not something I am entirely fond of.:(
