Good movie but stretchy climax.

Today I went to watch this funny drama movie Phillauri so here is my experience on it in detail.

So guys Anushka Sharma is back with ‘Phillauri’ after her first production ‘NH10’ and the movie completely belongs to her. Diljit Dosanjh and Anushka’s chemistry is also a delight to watch. ‘Phillauri’ is a cute story– of a modern confused boy, played by Suraj, trying to settle in his life, as well as a love story, where Diljit gives up his bad habits to be with Anushka. Kanan( Suraj) aka the groom is forced to marry a tree because he is considered to be a ‘Maanglik’, but Suraj ends up marrying the friendly ghost Shashi( Anushka) .What follows will leave you in splits and also make your heart explode with the cute love story. All the actors are good with their performance, but the movie belongs to Anushka, who brings a refreshing screen presence. The story is a little far-fetched towards the end, but the screenplay makes up for it. Dialogues will leave you in splits. Editing is fair and background score is supportive. Dum Dum and Sahiba are clear winners here no doubt on it.

Costumes for the rural setting can create a new style. The VFX used to make Anushka look like a ghost is on point as the actress, rather than looking scary, is a treat to the eye. Debutant director Anshai Lal has done a fairly good job as he manages to keep audiences entertained for most parts in the film. He only fails a little towards the climax, by stretching the plot without any clear reason and feels like little boring.

I’ll recommend to those who want some refreshing story and little bit fun, but because of stretchy climax i’ll not recommend as the back drop of this movie is not also able to hold the audience properly that’s why I am giving less stars, otherwise it is a nice & entertaining movie.
