The story is based in the 20th century era, it is for the director of the movie, to know the fact that the world has moved on to the 21st Century. And but it is displaying a friendly ghost character, played by Anushka Sharma.
The story is about Kanan who comes from Canada to Punjab. He is about to marry his childhood girlfriend Anu. But then there comes the superstition of marriage, (the one we saw in’Munna bhai MBBS’), manglik stuff. And the so the boy is convinced to marry a tree and then a silly thing, the tree will be chopped off and then he can marry his beloved friend.
So he does the required ritual.Unknowingly there is a ghost Shashi, residing in the tree.
And very monotonous things happens, it shows that the Kanan married Shashi, and she comes in his life, because only he can see her. And problems arise when he is to marry Anu.
Thyen there is late entry of the hero Daljit Dosanjh, he has done fairly well I the movie, and displayed his very best in the movie after’Udta Punjab’. He will do his very fast.
Then there are cross connections of love among the other characters. Very irritating and very boring in the middle beore and after the interval.
The movie’NH 10’ under Anushka’s banner was a good start, but this is not meeting up to our expectations.
So I would suggest that it is one time watch movie.
The song’Sahiba’ is remarkably good and soulful.
