Phir Phir Sunenge

’’Phir Milenge’’ staring Salman Khan, Shilpa Shetty and Abhishek; so we expect an ordinary and over emotional music but we get wrong. Because the director of film is Revathy, talented actress and now a establish director after making ’’Mitr’’. She has selected three music directors Shankar Ehsaan Loy, Bhavatha Raja and Nikhil Vinay and lyricists are Prasoon Joshi and Sameer. Revathy comes from south so it seems she has good knowledge of music. Now-a-days trend of selecting more than one music director is working quite well and output is also very good. Revathy has done the same thing for her first commercial film and it’s impressive.

First song ’’Jeene ke Ishare’’ is great combination of exceptionally well written lyrics by Prasoon Joshi and guitar’s strings. Romantic song with very different wording, start goes ’’Kuch khusbuyee yadon ki jungle se beh chali, kuch khidkiyaan yadon ki dastak se khul gayi, kuch geet purane rakhe the sir hane , kuchsur kai khoye the bandish mein kai’’. Prasoon Joshi must receive this year best lyricist award for this song , I don’t think so this year any one can write better than this. Shankar has sung song in a bit lower scale and his magical voice has done the rest of work. Music by S-E-L is full of guitar which is pleasant to ears.

Next one is ’’Betaab Dil Hai’’ but it stands no-where near the previous one but when we take look at cover, our confusion get clears because the music is by Nikhil-Vinay and lyrics by Sammer. Emotion flowing through each line and cocktail of Sameer’s favourite word like Dil, Dhadkan, Wada, Judaai and many more. Music seems to have inspiration of Nadeem-Shravan’s music. But now-a-days everyone sign Sameer to write the title song for their film, Revathy following the same foot-steps of superstition for the success of film. Song sung by Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghosal for them nothing much to do just hum the words in front of them.

Now what next some good music or some filmi numbers. But again sound of guitar brings smiles back. Sad version of ’’Jeene ke Ishare’’ but with a different look. It’s a sad song so the tempo of music becomes slow but , lyrics by Joshi are totally different than previous one and song is not sung by Shanker but they have taken singer of same caliber and who has really given life to each and every word he is Abhijeet. Sad song by music and lyrics but it makes us happy.

Next one is ’’Khulke Muskurale Tu’’ sung by ’’Zara Zara’’ fame Bombay Jayshree and she proves that she is also one of the best singers in present industry and why her voice is heard just once in a year. Slow number with again a poetic wording from Prasoon Joshi and well supported music by S-E-L.

Again Nikhil-Vinay , Sameer and party comes with a sad version of ’’Betaab Dil Hain’’.

Nothing much to tell about it. Sonu’s voice makes to hear the song.

After hearing next number ’’Khushiyon Ki Koshish’’, it seems Prasoon Joshi by mistake has made his way to the Bollywood because his each song is challenge for music director to pour the feelings in each and every word and very few music directors in industry can do this. Here S-E-L has done their best work. Shanker has decided for this film to look into music department only than singing, song is sung by Srinivas and Mahalaxmi. Song is with pleasant, fresh mood and nice poetic effect. Every one will enjoy this song.

Next song ’’Kuch Pal’’ music by Bhavathi Raja and sung by Vijay Yesudas. It’s the reflection of slow numbers of south films like Roja , Bombay. Music goes in same way of Mission Kashmir ’’chupke se soon’’, lyrics by Prasoon Joshi are very difficult to remember. In the end just a good slow song, not so impressive as the previous one.

Last one is ’’Phir Milenge’’ background number with just two word phir milenge .

Music given by Raja and sung by Vijay Yesudas. Just one minute song but nice one. Supported by Febi.

Phir Milenge albums have slow and poetic songs. Nice gift for Salman Khan fans. Best album in the career of Shilpa Shetty. But why Revthi selected Sameer and Nikhil-Vinay for composition of title track , I think Joshi and S-E-L would have done far better job. Prasoon Joshi has made his mark after Hum-Tum and this time he has done far better job than previous one.

S-E-L one of best album after Mission Kashmir, Dil Chatha Hai, Armaan, Lakshya. The trio has made use of guitar very well and made the song ’’Jeene Ke Ishare’’ again and again. On screen need to be look which song comes to way of Abhishek Bacchan and Salman Khan. Music is nice and melodious. Album has set good platform for success of film and hope film doesn’t depress us. Revthy has successfully crossed the hurdle in creation of good music and expectations are increasing after hearing the album of Phir Milenge.

Album arise one question, more than two music directors are necessary for film. Does it put any variety in album? And if director want it then they should be careful in the selection. Not like Phir Milenge, S-E-L and Nikhil-Vinay a very contrast combination.
