Facebook is a very popular application on every single smartphone in the country.While denying earlier this week that it is "building a phone, " Facebook has acknowledged that it is working with INQ Mobile on "deep integration" between mobile phone and social networking technologies.
Facebook no doubt is building a phone. Facebook is working with mobile phone maker INQ Mobile Ltd to create two smartphone devices that may have a network tie up with AT&T Inc. The smartphones would carry the popular social networking website’s services and were set to be unveiled in Europe in the first half of 2011

So, why is Facebook wise to partner with INQ? What I feel is that by partnering with INQ, Facebook has the ability to build a low-cost feature phone that will feature Facebook as a core service…putting Facebook on mobile into the hands of a whole new demographic.
