Piaggio Vespa is the ride offering something premium and different from the rest of the market. This cleanly designed scooter with distinctive front and step floorboard with rubber ribs look attractive on road.
The scooter is powered by 125 Cc Four stroke engine delivering 10 Bhp of power and 1 Nm of torque.
It gives a decent performance, the mileage is good at the start but the mileage goes down as the time passes a few years.
The Comfort is good on Vespa, but you may not find the vehicle that useful over the time.
Another problem to be faced is the lack of spare parts availability, as distinctive vehicle brings its own unique demands.
Reliability is acceptable and Road grip is also good just that it is a little on the heavier side and thus brakes seem little unresponsive sometimes.
The vehicle is very Appealing to the eyes and worth a look but I dont feel much use of all that as an Indian regular day guy and commuter. Also, it is overpriced in its segment, looking at other comfortable and little cheaper scooters available.
Vespa may seem extraordinary and yes it is but on a daily usage as a commuter I would prefer other scooters over Vespa, as it will offer me better service, and availability of spare parts and will be more reliable
