Had a terrible experience with Pikkol. Initially it started with a good note. The sales person did a survey and mentioned the below
Everything will be perfectly labeled
Our staff are given enough protection to safeguard from covid19
Pikkol will unpack and set everything.
We did a video call in order to gather and understand the requirements clearly.
On the day of shifting everything turned out to be a nightmare.
No proper masks and gloves were provided
Someone sneezed on the food items that we had to throw ( a big jar of pickle)
Glass items were wrapped in newspaper, which they again got it from us. Only few items were bubble wrapped.
We made our requirements very clear which was not mentioned to the ground staff.
Ground staff made a lot of fuss since they were unclear on the requirements
We ended up carrying most of the stuff as they were reluctant and it was already 11pm.
Finally I had to pay the deposit of 3k for retaining the cartons as the ground staff requested that it was already too late and the company policy is to collect the deposit.
I am still following up with them for collecting the cartons and for getting my deposit. No response yet from their teams.
Electric items , screws are missing from TV units:(
Nothing was labeled and they said if you want you can do it.
The ground staff were asking us to make the payment to them directly as Pikkol is not paying their share.
Customer care no is of no use.
Advise to the management
Communication gaps between Pikkol and the agency staff ( I am assuming its outsourced) needs to be improved
Ensure your staff or the agency staff is completely protected, I understand wearing those gears and shifting will be very difficult but nothing is more important than their life. Hand sanitizer is a must.
Show the prompt service even after completing the job, collect feedbacks. Not just in the initial stages.
