Piku - Story of a "Probasi" bengali girl(Deepika Padukone), her maniac father(Amitabh Bachchan) and a sweet guy(Irfan Khan) who unfortunately lost his job.
To tell you the truth, my heart was stolen the moment movie started. Lovely background music(Sitar+ Guitar) will give you the feel of Anupam Roy’s touch. He is already my favorite in modern bengali music, but listening to his music in Bollywood movie is so overwhelming.
Nice story, brilliant write up, impeccable acting and wonderful music makes Piku a must watch for everyone. I dont want to write anything on the story as I believe everyone should watch it for once. A movie which does not revolve around any stereotyped love story nor any gyan wala story. A simple, refreshing story which will make you laugh every other minute and leaves you with a lingering thought of satisfaction.
