Pink is a corutroom drama directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury.Outstanding performance of Amitabh Bachan as Deepak Sehgal and Tapsee Pannu as Minal Arora. The plot of the film is mainly happens in the courtroom. Three young woman accused in a crime and a retired lawyer come forward to help them out. The film is written by Varunish Garg.Its a very well written with striking dialogues which are spine of the film.
Many films on woman and their safety have been on screened for years but Pink has its unique space.It mainly deals with mentality of this generations men.As movie grab tight on its focus, never deviating from its central core. The introduction seen deals with anxiety as three young woman panicked and reach their home. These leaves the viewers to stretch for what really happened to the ladies. The man severely injured in hospital does give a sign but not clear. It progress to lives of three women. Panicked ladies not sure of decisions try to cope with situation but ened up in court as accused for attempt to murder. Minal(Tapsee Panu), who hit Rajveer Singh(Angad Bedi) with a bottle on his head, was trying to convice the court she was forced to do so. There starts the drama and quite bit thriling.
Dialogues were well executed and powerful till the end of film.this film will wide open our eyes.
Deepak Sehgal(Amitabh Bachan) is a retired lawyer who suffers from mood swings and old enough. Bachan nailed the role. Three young ladies(Tapsee Panu), Falak Ali(Kirti Kulhari), Andrea(Andrea Tariang) has done their job quiet neatly. Special mention to one of best performance by Kriti Kulhari. Prashant Mehra(Piyush Mishra) procecution lawyer have given his edge to the film. Angad Bedi(Rajveer Singh) as son of powerful politican an his friends Vijay Varma(Ankit Malhotra), Raashul Tandon(Dumpy) shown decent performances.
