The Pinnawala elephant orphanage is located in the beautiful country of Sri Lanka. The elephants can be seen in two main locations: the river where they bathe in the mornings and a large area of plains where you’ll find them in the afternoon.
The place itself I very well maintained and filled with tourists and volunteers...all looking for a chance to photograph these giant animals or feed the baby elephants milk. This place is a must visit for travelers and animals lovers.
