Piya Ka Ghar is, I think, one of the best serials on Indian TV. It replaced ’’Gharana’’ which was really good too. Piya Ka Ghar has completed more than 100 episodes just recently. It is about Rimjhim who fell in love with Avinash when she was a child but Avinash’s mother, Irawati hates Rimjhim because Rimjhim’s father, Prabhudayal was the cause of Irawati’s sister suiciding! Eventually, Rimjhim and Avinash get married. The story is about how much problems Rimjhim has to face to get married to her love and to win her mother-in-law’s heart after marriage! And there’s problems in the family between Bhavani Shankar, Jayanti, Rakesh, Yeshoda, Om, Kaveri, Bua Amma and more...Even though it isn’t notching up good TRP’s for Zee, the only reason for that is Zee isn’t popular and so people turn to Star Plus for serial entertainment but in USA, we don’t have Star Plus channel so I’d recommend Piya Ka Ghar.
