When it comes to pizza, there is one name that seems to be recognized across the boards-Pizza Hut. Pizza Hut has a chain of restaurants that seem to pop up in every city I visit. They offer sit down meals that include more than just pizza, as well as a take out and delivery service in some areas. The prices are affordable and there are frequent specials.
Not Your Typical Pizza
Pizza Hut maintains a regular menu of their traditional pizzas and hot dishes. Over the years not much has changed in terms of the classic Pizza Hut pizza. I can still order the traditional pizza and the delicious Pan Pizza. Pizza Hut is continually adding to their selections, however. Some of the newer pizza types include the Stuffed Crust Pizza, which has mozzarella filled crust, and the new Breadstick Twist Crust Pizza.
Other menu choices include a salad bar, which you can order as a meal or a one stop side dish to your regular order. Pasta dishes are also available. One of our favorite side orders is the Garlic Bread with Cheese. Toasted bread with melted butter and garlic smothered in mozzarella cheese makes a tasty appetizer! Breadsticks are another favorite, and they are accompanied by a side of dipping spaghetti sauce.
For lunch, many Pizza Huts offer an all-you-can-eat pizza bar. A variety of pizzas are offered on the hot bar for those that like to try different pizza variations. The price for our local lunch buffet is only about $4. Another popular lunch choice is the famous Personal Pan Pizza, which is delivered in your own piping hot mini skillet to your table. This is a great choice for children as well.
Pizza Hut is often a favorite restaurant choice for children and our local Pizza hut is typically filled with families. The casual atmosphere makes Pizza hut a good choice for families that want to take out the kids. Paper place mats are given to children with crayons to keep them busy and numerous high chairs and booster seats are available. Children’s cups with lids are convenient to prevent spills.
A recent program sponsored by Pizza Hut has been a great incentive for my children. Pizza Hut offers a free Personal Pan Pizza for each child that completes their reading program with their local school. Each month a child must read for 15 minutes per day and return their reading slip to their teacher for verification. They are then given the Pizza Hut reward certificate for their pizza. This year 3 of my children accumulated a total of 15 free pizzas between them.
Something for Everyone
Pizza Hut offers a clean atmosphere for dining, as well as a variety of menu choices. Their toppings range from typical meat toppings to vegetarian selections. One of the best bets for groups or families is to order their pitcher of soda, which saves significantly on beverage costs. Because Pizza hut caters to both families and adults, I highly recommend this restaurant.
