My Verna and Planet’s Service
Friends, my name is Raghav Iyer, and I come from an advertitising background. Based in Ahmedabad since the last 5 years and working with an Advertising MNC now. I shifted from Mumbai and owned a Maruti Esteeem since the last 6 years that I was still driving.
A friend of myn had already purhcased a getz from Planet and he was the one who took me to them. Before that I had made a mood to buy a car and had visited various people in Ahmedabad(used car brokers and two other dealers) to change my car for a new one. But everyone had the same thing to say "Ye car to mumbai ki hai, idhar to nahin bikegi." Saying this they used to quote unreasonable prices for my car. I got the idea that they were just trying to fool me. So, my car exchange plans were on hold, and on hold and on hold.
The day I went to this dealer, I felt hope because, they were already displaying other state cars also in their used car division. So when I showed them my car, they had no Bahanas to tell me, but were very straight forward and said that the car could be bought immediately but some price negotiation was to be made.
What I really liked is that they were very clear. Instantly I said, ok, offer me a price. They quoted a price for my old esteem and gave a good deal for the new Verna. I really want to appreciate Kumar the used car manager at Planet Hyundai, and the new car team Hiren Murthy team manager, Dipak Naidu the executive for doing everything so fast
My friend had already purchased a car and he knew almost everyone around there. The next day morning I came with my wife to leave my car and take the new car. A panditji was there and my new Verna was waiting with a ribbon tied around it just waiting for me.
The new Verna is excellent. I travel a lot and have bought diesel for this. I can’t stop appreciating the looks, the interior. Four of my friends have complimented me since I bought the car and they are also planning to buy now. It is silent, fast and very very stylish. Hyundai designing is I think on the lines of one of the best in the world now.
I am so happy and my wife, kids are also very happy. Just yesterday the Dipak - executive called to check how I was doing, and how the car was doing and I was thanking him. I thought I should share this with my friends out there.
