Planet Spark is fraud. Its a SCAM. For attending one class, they are not refunding my amount. They charged 62, 200, now they talk very arrogantly
Dont trust them. Not even 1 star.i dont know why 4 star rating is coming by default.
A demo class was attended on 29th March2025, followed by a counseling session on 30th March, conducted by Ankit, we were clearly assured a 100% refund if we decided to withdraw at any point before attending 20 classes. There was absolutely no mention of any deductions. This promise was the sole reason we agreed to pay the fee on the spot, under significant pressure from him. Ankit, pressured us for immediate payment, assuring us a 100% refund if cancelled within 20 classes.
Based on that assurance, we made a payment of ₹;9, 000 as down payment and the remaining ₹;52, 200 was converted into EMIs(Total: ₹;62, 200). The entire amount 62, 200 is being paid to Planet Spark by the bank, now we are not even in a position to cancel the EMIs.
After attending just one class, it was clear the program was not suitablemy daughter was placed with students much younger(Kindergarten to Class 2) and the available class timings(e.g., 11 PM 12 AM, 5 AM 6 AM) were completely unreasonable. My daughter was also not willing to attend the class, so
Just after attending one class, I reached out repeatedly via messages to Ankit, the teacher Afreen and PlanetSpark customer support, for cancellation but received no response until 16th April(where one of the customer support person asked for our concern). This complete lack of communication and support from their end further solidifies the unprofessional handling of our case. I can provide you the screenshots of missed calls that both myself and my husband made and also the messages we sent via whatsapp. After contineous calls and emails we didnt receive any proper response.
After expressing our intent to discontinue, Planet Spark team offered to shift her curriculum and refused the promised full refund, instead stating the refund conditions which is coming around ₹; 22, 620 would be deducted which is completely unacceptable after such misleading onboarding, and for just attending 1 class.
This entire experience has caused us severe mental stress and financial concern. Moreover the way the customer support people speak is also very concerning.
I can provide the mails that I have written to them, and the tickets that I have raised but they consider all as duplicate and not responding. I also have call recording in which one of their customer support executive tried to convience us to take 3 more classes and then they will deduct 3000 rs+gst per class(coming to around 3500)and refund the rest. I asked them to deduct that amount and refund the rest, but that also they are not doing.
