My Experience with PlanetSpark A Cautionary Tale
I recently came across PlanetSpark while searching for communication improvement classes and decided to book a trial session. What followed was honestly disappointing and quite alarming.
The demo class lasted about an hour, and right from the start, it was underwhelming. The "instructor" assigned to me couldnt even explain basic concepts like active and passive voice. When I asked about interview skills, the response was vague and unhelpful. I ended up introducing myself eight times during the session, and that was pretty much the entire class content.
When I asked about the course fees, I was told to enroll firstwithout any clarity on costs or syllabus. That was a major red flag.
Later, I received a call from someone who introduced himself as a counsellor. The conversation quickly turned into a high-pressure sales pitch. Despite asking several times, he refused to share any details about the syllabus or fee structure. Instead, he insisted that I join blindly because, according to him, they are professionals and Im the one seeking help. Every time I asked a question, he dodged it or outright said it was "none of his business" to clarify.
It became clear that this was a scripted, sales-driven interaction where the priority was pushing enrollment rather than addressing genuine concerns.
Let me be clearI know what active and passive voice are. Unfortunately, the so-called professionals at PlanetSpark did not.
Please be cautious and make an informed decision before considering PlanetSpark. Dont fall for polished marketing gimmicks. Always ask questionsand if they cant answer, that tells you everything you need to know.
